Bhadra inflow completely drops in November itself: Farmers worried

Davangere: The inflow of Bhadra reservoir, the lifeblood of the district, has completely declined, reminding us of summer days even in winter. In addition to the decrease in inflow compared to the previous year, the water level is also one foot lower.Now that the monsoon season is over, the summer season will begin, and by the first week of January next year, we will have to water paddy and horticultural crops. Since the inflow has decreased, the dam water will be empty soon. 55 cusec inflow: The inflow of Bhadra Dam has declined for the past one week. Now only 55 to 65 cusecs are flowing. This time the inflow has declined to a greater extent compared to the previous year. Last year, there was 286 cusecs inflow on December 1, then due to the cyclone, the inflow was good in December, and by December 15, it had increased again to 1420 cusecs. Similarly, since there was 1311 cusecs inflow till the end of December, the water stored in the dam was not used up much even during the summer season.
